Stories that inspire us

Elderly woman smiling at home

Mrs R., 82: a visit every week

Widowed and with no family nearby, she now receives a weekly visit from a volunteer. “I thought I was done with company. Now I look forward to Tuesdays.”

A woman learning to sew

Khadija, 34: from French class to a job

She arrived in France in 2024 and attended our French classes for 8 months. She now works as a seamstress with a partner — partly trained at WAS.

Models walking on a runway

The Spring runway

Forty students of our school presented their creations to 300 people. Elders, young people, newcomers: one shared stage, one shared pride.

Annual report & accounts

In line with our bylaws, we publish each year an activity report and a financial statement validated at the General Assembly. The report can be sent on simple request to contact@was-association.org.
