Integration in France

Support for Jewish newcomers from Israel

WAS helps families, students, workers and elders arriving from Israel understand French administration, access local services, learn French and build a stable life in France.

A practical welcome

From arrival to everyday autonomy

Arriving in France can be difficult even when the move is planned: housing, health insurance, school, work status, family benefits, language and unfamiliar institutions all arrive at once. WAS offers a first point of contact, listens to the situation, and helps each person move step by step.

Our support is social and administrative. We do not replace lawyers, accountants or public services, but we help people understand what to prepare, which office to contact, and how to follow up without being alone.

  • Confidential first conversation by email or appointment.
  • French-language support for daily life and paperwork.
  • Orientation toward public services, partner associations and professional advisers when needed.
  • Support open to Jewish newcomers from Israel and to any person in difficulty, without political affiliation.

School and children

Help understanding school enrolment, canteen, extracurricular activities, school insurance and communication with local schools.

General orientation for residence-related appointments and document checklists, with referral to specialised legal associations when needed.

French classes

Community, dignity and integration

Integration is not only paperwork. WAS creates spaces where newcomers can ask questions, meet local families, share cultural references, and find social ties. We pay particular attention to elders, young parents, isolated people and people who have experienced stress or displacement.

Important: WAS is non-political and does not provide immigration-law representation, tax advice or accounting services. For complex legal, tax or professional questions, we help you identify qualified organisations or professionals.

For families

For students
